It takes a long time to count medications thus customers have to wait a time. To improve this issue, there will need to order new automated dispensing machine that enhances packing medication rate. So customers do not have to hang on a long time.

There was a one Darshan pharmacy opposite of my workplace, which was overtaken by Marathon gas station last month. There is no another pharmacy accept the sun discount pharmacy, so customers are increasing nowadays. Moreover, due to the coming winter season, snowbirds are also coming to store to take medications. It is hard to fill all prescription within time by manual count without mistakes. The narcotic medication needs count twice by another coworker. This types of medication need more accuracy one overdose could be fatal to patients. We are four pharmacy technician, and each has their different duties. Sometimes conflicts occur in filling department. For example, One day one customer came and brought two proscriptions in which we have to fill 270 tablets. He was asking for doing on time delivery. There was two coworker in filling SECTION and both counts same medication to maintain accuracy. However, both had different drug number, and confits raised between the coworkers. On the other hand, My customer became angry on The and blaming that we wast his crucial time. He left the store in an angry mood and said that does not come again. The simple solution to this issue is to buy a new automated dispensing machine which reduces filling time.

My boss did not understand the point that we need to order new technological medication count machine, which takes minimum time to fill the medications. So we able to give on time delivery and save customer time. My boss is so yelling at us and demand for increase speed. This issue needs to be solved because of over consuming time on medication delivery; patients don’t like to do business with us. Furthermore, there is a chance to miss counting medication. Sometimes I noticed that patients complain about to fill less medication than to prescribed in the prescription, and I also heard that we packed more medication than prescribed. This is not good for us not for customers. Some regular customer told me to do something abut this issue. To explain my boss about this issue and to suggest to bring new automated dispensing machine is a very hard task.

It was hard for me to see my customer in angry mood due over consuming time. I decided to take with my boss. I discussed running issue and suggested to bring a new machine. I explained that new machine cost is 90000. Such company gives two-year warranty and guaranty if anything misfortune happen. In November such company offer discount so if the machine will bring in November it cost reduce 10 percent. Moreover, the company also offer installment plan with low interest. There is a unique option if we pay over 500 installments than we don’t need to pay interest.
