You will create additional posts this week in class as/when instructed.
Requirements: Each post should have a visual element. Your posts should be no shorter than a paragraph [min. 50 words]. Include links to other digital media when appropriate. Make sure your posts do not violate the Code of Conduct.
For online courses: By the end of Week 3, submit a link to one of your posts to receive points for the exercise. If you are particularly proud of your work and want to share it with the class, be sure to use your group’s wiki to link to your blog.
For on-ground courses: To earn credit for this week’s blog exercise, you must be present in class. Feel free to work on this outside of class, but it won’t count towards your credit hours for the course. By the end of our second class meeting during Week 3, submit a link to one of your posts to receive points for the exercise. Strong Work: Content is relevant to assigned topic. Writing clearly communicates blogger’s original ideas. Post demonstrates reflective thought about the topic. Graphics and multimedia are high quality and appropriate to the topic. Credit is given to any and all source material.
Proficient: Content is mostly relevant to assigned topic. Writing is mostly clear and demonstrates some reflective thought about the topic. Graphics and multimedia are of fair quality and credit is given to source material. Methods for improvement: Be sure to respond fully to the assignment prompt. Revise your work to demonstrate reflective thought and edit with attention to correctness. Be sure to credit all source material (eg. “Image courtesy of Google Images).
Improvement Needed: Blog post strays off topic and/or includes inappropriate material. No credit is given to source material. Methods for improvement: Be sure to think deeply about the assigned topic and to limit your comments to only that topic. As you find graphical images and media to use in your post, note the source and be sure to credit that source when using its material in your post.
