• use an easy-to-read font style (Times New Roman or Arial)
• use a font size 12 point – do not justify text
• use 1.5 line spacing
• number each page
• add your name and student number in the header or footer
This is an academic piece of work – do not embellish with art or decorative designs.
Please ensure the criteria marking sheet is included as per the template.
Referencing (APA)
All citations and headings are included in the 2000 word limit. Your essay should be succinctly written. Please refer to cite write (write section) on suggested ways to express your points in a clear and succinct manner. 10% lee way either way is granted. Longer essays may be penalized.
The reference list is additional to the 2000 word limit.
Students should follow the guidelines for the American Psychological Association (APA) referencing system that is the standard for the Faculty of Education. Failure to do so may result in marks lost.
