Your speeches will fall between 5 and 7 minutes.
You will turn in your outlines before giving your speech. The outlines should follow the format I provided in
class. A step further that you will have taken with this speech is that you will follow the motivational sequence
and incorporate it into the format provided as such 1. Attention (in the Introduction) 2. Need/problem ( body
main point one) 3. Satisfaction (body main point two) 4. Visualize (body main point three) and, 5. Call to action
(included in conclusion).
You will put everything you prepared and plan on saying in complete sentences.
You will include a ”References” page which will have 4 to 6 library sources that you have cited within your
speeches. You can have additional references that are not library sources as long as you have at minimum 4
library resources. Every piece of information you obtain from other sources and use in your speech should all be
cited within the outline as well as be part of your reference page.
