In this study Killoran, Tymon and Frempong (2007) interviewed 352 directors of licensed preschools in the Toronto area. The questions were focused on the inclusion of young children with disabilities and the perception of the directors in regard to how the children received services. The challenges identified in this quantitative study were divided into four main themes: inclusion and refusal of children with disabilities, accommodations, service models and availability and perceived barriers to inclusion (Killoran, Tymon, & Frempong, 2007).
