It is a group project assignment where we get certain amount of asset to structure an airline (we get 60 aircrafts initially) in India region. I will provide aircraft schedules and crew rosters as well later on for the support documents.
things that need to be covered are:
Compile a table with average a/c utilisation data for our different domestic airports (leave out international for now). Could you please check the hours because there have been multiple changes and whatever is written might not be the most accurate. Links for the a/c routing files should all be in slack, just look in our channel.
Compare aircraft daily utilisation (try airline data project as i believe the average LCC hours there is 11 hours, also try to find other sources). Try to find airlines that are as similar to ours as possible, i.e. Indian / LCC / Boeing 737
Find out how other airlines manage their maintenance if possible
Insert some tables to compare our data with real world data. If it looks really off, try to find other sources.
Try to find out how other indian airlines are doing their a/c routing, look for any news articles etc.
