Identify a historical problem, event or topic (after 1940) that you would like to explore.<br \/>\nUse both course texts, A People and A Nation and Major Problems to help you choose.<br \/>\n2. Conduct a general research inquiry and develop a thesis. Choose a primary source<br \/>\nfrom Major Problems that will support your proposal\/argument.<br \/>\n3. Select another primary source, this time from a reputable digital archive, which will also<br \/>\n4. Now choose two secondary sources, one that you perceive as problematic and one you<br \/>\nbelieve supports your thesis. (You may use as many secondary sources as you like. Two<br \/>\nis the minimum.)<br \/>\n5.
