\nThe attached Conflict Styles Inventory walks you through a series of scenarios offering
\nyou
\noptions for how you would address the situation. Decide your response, and then
\nanalyze your
\nresults for Preferred Style , and Recommended Style . After completing both
\nanalyses, write
\nout your Journal Entry addressing the following:
\n1) Share the results of your Preferred Conflict Style analysis. Discuss whether the
\nresults
\nsurprised you, giving examples from your volunteer and work life whether these results
\nseem consistent or inconsistent.
\n2) Share the results of your Recommended Styles analysis. Do you agree with what
\nthe
\nbenchmark advice tells you Reflect how you might change your behavior in future if
\nthat is what it is recommending you do.
\n3) These scenarios are based on someone acting in a community leadership capacity.
\nBased on your reading of Ch. 16 on conflict management skills, and your own work
\nexperience, do you think that conflict management differ in the work place versus
\ncommunity scenarios Write at least a full 4 5 sentence paragraph stating your opinion
