Workforce 2020 refers to the type of \u00a0workforce leaders are likely to encounter in 2020. The concept refers to \u00a0the workforce that will emerge from trends such as increased \u00a0globalization and diversity, more extensive use of technology, and the \u00a0use of non-traditional staff such as more contractors and other \u00a0\u201cjust-in-time\u201d assets.<\/p>\n<p>For this assignment, you will need to consider trends in leadership \u00a0and organizational structure, for example, the move toward a more \u00a0participative leadership style and a more networked organizational \u00a0structure.<\/p>\n<p>Identify an organization of your choice. This could be your current \u00a0employer. It could even be a hypothetical organization or that of one of \u00a0your peers. Be sure you have access to information about the \u00a0organization and about the industry the organization is in. We would \u00a0suggest choosing an organization and industry that are changing so that \u00a0you can explore strategies for change management.<\/p>\n<p>Research on that organization, and then respond to the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Describe the organization you have chosen. Please include the name \u00a0and a short description of the organization\u2019s products or services.<\/li>\n<li>How does the organization motivate its employees? Describe any \u00a0programs or methods they use to motivate workers. If the organization \u00a0does not have any employee motivational strategies, suggest some \u00a0strategies that you think will be effective.<\/li>\n<li>Describe the current state of the organization\u2019s workforce dynamic. \u00a0Is its workforce growing? Is it changing? How is it changing and why?<\/li>\n<li>What are some of the workforce trends that this organization needs \u00a0to address?
