You have been asked to prepare a report for this interview \u00a0in which you will address several items that are critical to your \u00a0success and, more importantly, to the success of the Ocean Beach Caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>In your paper,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify who you would involve in this process and explain why.<\/li>\n<li>Identify the type of budget you will use and explain how this will be helpful in your new job.<\/li>\n<li>Describe how this report can be used to discipline your managers.<\/li>\n<li>Indicate how you would calculate labor cost and describe what you can do to control labor cost.<\/li>\n<li>Explain how to address food cost.<\/li>\n<li>Identify internal controls that you can use to minimize your losses of food and beverages.<\/li>\n<li>Identify how inventories will be conducted and explain why this is important to your food and beverage cost.<\/li>\n<li>Explain how the new menu relates to profitability.<\/li>\n<li>Describe what cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis and break-even \u00a0analysis are and determine how these should be used in making decisions \u00a0regarding the menu.<\/li>\n<li>Distinguish the difference between price and value and describe management\u2019s responsibilities with regard to each.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Writing the Final Paper<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Final Paper<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Must be at least eight double-spaced pages in length (not including \u00a0the title and reference pages), and formatted according to APA style as \u00a0outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.<\/li>\n<li>Must include a title page with the following:\n<ol>\n<li>Title of paper<\/li>\n<li>Student\u2019s name<\/li>\n<li>Course name and number<\/li>\n<li>Instructor\u2019s name<\/li>\n<li>Date submitted<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement.<\/li>\n<li>Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought.<\/li>\n<li>Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis.<\/li>\n<li>Must include references and citations from the text and at least \u00a0three scholarly sources, including a minimum of two from the Ashford \u00a0University Library.<\/li>\n<li>Must document all sources in APA style, as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.<\/li>\n<li>Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Food and Beverage Manager Congratulations!
