For question #1 you will need to review and reference both the reading and the YouTube video \u201cThe Land of No Men: Inside Kenya&#8217;s Women-Only Village.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Land of No Men: Inside Kenya&#8217;s Women-Only VillageA) Discuss the role of women in the Samburu culture and the traditions towards marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM) that have affected female rights.<\/p>\n<p>B) Briefly describe how and why Umoja village was founded.<\/p>\n<p>C) Compare and contrast Umoja with the three other matriarchal Samburu villages (Nachami, Supalake, and Nang\u2019ida) in terms of the roles of both men and women.<\/p>\n<p>D) Summarize the organization and culture, and the experiences of women (and men) in these matriarchal villages in the context of the information presented in the section \u201cMarriage and the Regulation of Sexual Relations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>2.
