\nYou will then make connections between that object and\u00a0at least 3 things\u00a0from this list:

\nhistorical events
\ntechnology
\nreligion
\nYou must stick with the time periods that we cover in this class (500 CE in Europe, 1500 CE in the rest of the world).\u00a0Think about who, what, when where, why and how. Give the background history for the pieces. Why were they important when they were created? Why do we find them important now?

\nRequirements for the paper:
\n1. 3-5 pages in length
\n2. Includes\u00a02 outside sources (the textbook is not a source)\u00a0for this paper. You\u00a0need to have at least one book and\/or one scholarly journal article. So for example, your bibliography can have 2 books or 1\u00a0book and 1 scholarly journal article or two scholarly journal articles.\u00a0I will not accept website resources.\u00a0I want you to use\u00a0scholarly sources. Although the journal articles can be found on the internet they are journal articles from scholarly sources not\u00a0websites or blogs etc.
