\n1. Introduction
\nThis, INS468 \u2013 IT Strategy and Governance, project involves writing a detailed report, preparing
\na presentation (3-5 slides), and creating a Blog that shows the key findings of the report. Your
\nreport should cover a relevant topic to our subject. Such a topic, that is made possible with the
\nprefoliation and mass use of information systems and technologies today, provides a strategic
\nadvantage to organizations today, including enabling them to create and use new and emerging
\nbusiness models, sustain their competitive advantages, increase their work flexibility settings, or
\noptimize their business processes more efficiently and effectively.

\n2. Topics
\nThe following are only some suggested topics. You are welcome to bring another relevant topic of
\nyour interest. But, make sure to discuss it with your Instructor before writing about it:
\n1 Digital Systems for enabling telecommuting and telework
\n2 Increase productivity with online collaborative tools
\n3 Social IT for building a social business strategy
\n4 Enabling co-opetition
\n5 IST for business an ecosystem
\n6 Building strategic alliances using IST
\n7 Creating the elastic and zero-time organizations
\n3. Objectives of the Group Project
\nA. Choose a specific topic from the list above or select your own after discussing it with
\nyour Instructor, and then read all attainable and relevant material about it from
\nacademic articles, Websites, books, and industry reports.
\nB. Once you have enough material, you are expected to clearly and fully discuss the topic
\nin a written report, 5-7 pages, in terms of:
\na) The technology or information system embedded or used,
\nb) Success stories from around the world utilizing such topic,
\nc) Current state of implementation\/ adoption for the topic in UAE\/GCC market,
\nd) How your topic would help companies realizing their strategic business objectives, and
\ne) Key conclusions\/ contributions of your report for readers for other companies who consider
\nabout acquiring\/purchasing\/implementing similar topic.
\nC. Prepare a presentation about your discussion\/findings and deliver the presentation\u2019s
\nslides at the end of your written report.

\nD. Each group is also required to design its own Blog, using any of the free online
\nBlogging services (e.g., Wix, theblogstarter, webself, WordPress, etc.). Post the main
\nfindings of your report on your Blog and provide the link of the Blog in your report.

\nA. Title page: Must contain topic title, group members names and IDs, and course name.
\nB. Abstract: About 150 words (Summary of the key findings of the report)
\nC. Table of Contents
\nD. Main body of the report
\nE. Conclusion
