What are you able to say about the novel(asside from the factual information it contains) from this very short section? Come up with a thesis statement and three topic sentences that you could use to write an essay about this novel from the information you can gather from this excerpt. Your work need to be extensive. Four sentences will do it.

My name is Mary Katherine Blackwood. I am eighteen years old, and I live with my sister Constance. I have often thought that with any kuch at all I could have been born a werewolf, because the two middle fingers on both my hands are the same length, but I have had to be content with what I had. I dislike washing myself, dogs, and noise. I like my sister Consrtance, and Richard Plantagenet, and Amanita phalliods, the death-cup mushroom. Everyone else in my family is dead.

The last time I glanced at the library books on the kitchen shelf they were more than five months overdue, and I wondered whether I wuold have chosen differently f I had known that these were the last books, the ones which would stand forever on our kitchen shelf. We rarely moved things;the Blackwoods were never much of a family for restelessness and stirring. We dealt with the small surface transient objects, the books and the flowers ad the spoond, but underneth we had always a solid foundation of stable possessions. We always put things back where they belonged. We dusted and swept under tables and chairs and beds and pictures and rugs and lamps, but we left them where they were; the tortoise-shell toilet set on our mother’s dressing table was never off place by so much as a fraction of an inch. Blacwoods had always lived in our house and kept their thigs in order; as soon as a new Blackwood wife moved in, a place was found for her belongings, and so our house was built up with layers and Blackwood property weighting it and keeping it steady against the world.

Answer:

The story contains a brief story about Mary Katherine, known as Merricat who lives with her sister Constance in a family state and also with her uncle Julian, and she protects the sister from the villagers’ hostility who accuses her with murder and they stay alienated until when Charles came but Merricat sensed danger (Worley 10). The black story emerges when the Blackwood family succumbed to arsenic poisoning during dinner and Constance was associated with the murder.

Thesis statement: Death can be seen as an impending doom along with the sense of foreboding as seen in the book we have always lived in the castle.

Topic sentences: The entire village can be seen as a style, a time, and a piece as the villagers seemed to rely and feed on the ugliness in it since anything good that was planned lost its glory fast hence the black woods was the only appropriate origin of the villagers. Merricat’s family was isolated from the black wood villagers and Merricat and Constance they were afraid of associating with other children due to the impending doom which had occurred (Sluis 6). After the death of Merricat’s family, Charles Merricat’s cousin as the only family heir intended to succeed the family fortune and mansion which caused merricat to use her magic to cause a fire in the entire homestead to protect her existence where the chief suggested a satanic ritual to be conducted.

Related Assignment Samples

December 26, 2017 critical account of Kants short text : 666190

May 15, 2017 Legal Studies-Techniques of Legal Research:555439

October 13, 2017 Service Quality(Candlenut Kitchen, Singapore): 589706

April 17, 2017 Organizational Theory and Design, Amazon: 550437

March 25, 2017 Legal Aspect of the Situation Regarding HSE

August 16, 2017 Workplace Health and Safety:588534

March 17, 2018 Colonialism, Cultural Diversity and Human Rights : 679806

December 26, 2017 Leadership And Employee Retention (Literature Review) : 664080

June 12, 2017 Designing or Evaluating:577459

March 17, 2018 Psychological Interpretations : 679790

April 17, 2017 Pre-service Teacher Perceptions of Student Behavior and Possible Intervention: 545630

April 18, 2017 Literature Review and Problem Statement

September 23, 2017 Nursing(Implications for Acetaminophen):614599

March 22, 2018 Demand And Supply Of Energy : 687704

September 19, 2017 Relationship Counseling: 590796

February 27, 2018 New Product Development And The Product Life Cycle : 664385

April 29, 2017 Entrepreneurship Literature Review

April 11, 2017 American Literature

January 31, 2018 Test on International Entrepreneurship : 601447

January 31, 2018 Criminology Definitions : 657230

Question: Read the first two paragrahs of Shirley Jackson’s We Have Always Lived in the Castle.
