If your employer organization is not a<br \/> publicly traded company, you have the option to access the annual report for another publicly traded company. The annual reports are usually located in the Investors<br \/> Relations or Company Information sections of a company\u2019s website. Use the audited financial statements in the annual report instead of the unaudited financial<br \/> statements that appear on Yahoo, Morningstar and other sites. The audited financial statements usually appear at the end of the report. Look for the independent<br \/> auditor\u2019s report and Notes to the Consolidated Financial Statements. The audited financial statements are with these two documents.<\/p>\n<p>The response will include the name of the company, the date of the annual report you accessed and the website address for the balance sheet that appears in the annual<br \/> report. If applicable, identify the parent company and subsidiary companies.<\/p>\n<p>Answer the following questions based on the company\u2019s statement of cash flows. What is the dollar amount for the net cash provided by operating activities?<\/p>\n<p>Does the format of the operating activities section indicate that the indirect or direct method was used to prepare this section of the statement of cash flows? The<br \/> statement of cash flows will not identify the method. Refer to Illustrations 12-13 (indirect method) and Illustration (Appendix A) 12A-16 (direct method). Include an<br \/> explanation in your response as to why the format for the selected company\u2019s statement of cash flows was prepared using the indirect method or direct method.<br \/> What are at least 2 line items and dollar amounts that appear in the investing activities section?<br \/> What are at least 2 equity or debt financing activities (line items and dollar amounts) that appear in the financing activities section report?<br \/> Reference<\/p>\n<p>Kimmel, P.
