Go to MSN Money. (http:\/\/investing.money.msn.com\/investments\/key-ratios<\/a>) and type in a ticker symbol for a company with the letter M<\/b><\/p>\n Next, complete the following:<\/p>\n Select \u201cKey Ratios\u201d on the left menu panel.<\/p>\n There are several categories listed for ratios.<\/p>\n Select one<\/p>\n \u201cFinancial Condition Ratio\u201d and one \u201cManagement Efficiency Ratio\u201d.<\/p>\n Open the Profile section on the left menu panel and you will see \u201cIndustry\u201d is identified.<\/p>\n Find a competitive company within that industry and compare those ratios to the ones you just found.<\/p>\n Examine your findings and determine whether your company outperforms its competition based on financial ratios. <\/p>\n Identify where your firm seems to lag.
