Please use the same references for this paper as in assignment 1. I have uploaded these and the rest are on the list in assignment 1.<\/p>\n<p>This plan must include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fully completed Cover Page (title, author\u2019s name, student number).<\/li>\n<li>Introduction: what is it all about? i.e. the nature of the focus area \u2013 from material in Assessment 1A (marked version uploaded with feedback from tutor).<\/li>\n<li>Significance: why is it important for Early Childhood Education and for a teacher\u2019s professional practice.<\/li>\n<li>Background: This is not new work \u2013 it is essentially an elaboration of the Conclusion statement from Assessment 1 \u2013 Literature Review (marked version uploaded with feedback from tutor).<\/li>\n<li>Research question: the specific question to be examined (a clear and concise statement of the aspect of the focus area you will be exploring, stated as a question that you will be exploring, along with all appropriate definitions\/explanations).<\/li>\n<li>Methodology and methods: a detailed description of the research approach and data collection method\/s you would use to answer your research question (the type of research you are undertaking; how you will undertake the research, including descriptions of data collection and analysis techniques).<\/li>\n<li>Research ethics: a comprehensive outline about the ethical issues for your proposed investigation and how these will be attended to by yourself in your plan. Material from Assignment 1 and in particular from your work on those Tasks in the Ethics modules (uploaded) can form the basis for a summary here.(I have uploaded my ethics report for this unit as well).<\/li>\n<li>Action: outline how you might implement any potential changes to practice as a result of some likely outcomes to your research.<\/li>\n<li>Timeline: an outline of the proposed timing for the implementation of your plan (including the work already completed in identifying your area of focus and completing the literature review).&nbsp; Each phase of the project needs some dates and a suggested timeline.<\/li>\n<li>List of References.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your submission is expected to be 3000 words. As noted in the details above you may include some material that you have prepared for the earlier assignments. Make sure you do not plagiarize yourself.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Assessment rubric is below and we reinforce the advice that you plan carefully how much material you write in the different sections of your plan, based on the rubric weightings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Rubric:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Statement of purpose (10marks): <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The topic is <u>thoroughly introduced <\/u>and the <u>context of the research topic is well described<\/u>. The introduction includes <u>a compelling statement of the significance <\/u>of the topic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Information sources (10 marks): <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Information is gathered from <u>multiple sources<\/u>, including <u>research-based sources.<\/u><\/p>\n<p>The suggested number of resources specified (12 -15) is achieved.<\/p>\n<p><u>Definitions <\/u>in use are <u>identified and clearly presented<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key research studies identified (15 marks): <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is a <u>detailed coverage<\/u> of those studies related to your topic and the <u>appropriate content is covered in sufficient depth<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Identification of the methodologies employed by studies examined (15 marks): <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A <u>comprehensive statement<\/u> of those research methodologies employed by the researchers that are relevant to your own research question.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Major areas of agreement and disagreement (10 marks): <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Major areas of agreement or disagreement amongst your studies are <u>fully described.<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusions (10 marks): <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A <u>complete and concise summary<\/u> of general conclusions is presented, with <u>explicit linkage to your own study.<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Referencing (5 marks): <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Information <u>is cited properly<\/u> and in APA format.<\/p>\n<p>All needed citations are included; <u>references match citation<\/u>s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clarity of writing(10 marks):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Writing consistently <u>flows well with few awkward phrases and paragraphs<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>Writing is <u>crisp, clear and succinct<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>Writer incorporates the <u>active voice<\/u> when appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>Sentences and paragraphs <u>consistently relate to each other and are well developed<\/u>.
