You will perform a multiple regression analysis on the data and report your output.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Use the following information to ensure successful completion of the assignment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download the SPSS\/PASW data set file \u201cModule 7 SPSS Data File,\u201d and use it for this assignment.<\/li>\n<li>Download the \u201cModule 7 Problem Set\u201d file and use it for this assignment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Perform the following tasks to complete this assignment:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Conduct necessary analyses using SPSS so you can answer the questions listed in the exercise.<\/li>\n<li>Submit your responses to the exercise questions as a Word document.<\/li>\n<li>Submit the SPSS Output files showing the analyses you performed in SPSS to compute the answers for related questions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Optimism and Longevity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A cancer specialist from the Los Angeles County General Hospital (LACGH) rated patient optimism in 20- to 40-year-old male patients with incurable cancer in 1970.
