Tune out what they are saying and then sit back and watch. Take notes on what type of <\/p>\n<p>gestures (emblems, regulators, illustrators, adaptors and affect displays) are they using? How often do they use each one? Are they aware of these gestures? You will <\/p>\n<p>then use your notes to write a typed two page essay describing what you witnessed. Please let us know where you were, the mall, Starbucks, work etc.. and who was <\/p>\n<p>involved, two men sitting at a table\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Describe at least ten separate gestures. <\/p>\n<p>Please submit in drop box your essay including:<\/p>\n<p> What type?<br \/> What are they conveying? How many repetitions?<br \/> What are the circumstances?<\/p>\n<p> At least two pages, typed\u2013 MINIMUM of 675 words<br \/> Double spaced<br \/> Paragraphs, not bullets<br \/> Include nonverbal terminology<br \/> Specific examples<\/p>\n<p>Reminder: All written work must comply with standard English rules, such as proper capitalization, grammar and spelling.
