The team essay will be about <\/span>\u201c<\/span>Managerial Accounting in the Management Process<\/span>\u201d<\/span>. The management process has five basic phases:<\/span><\/p>\n

Planning<\/span><\/p>\n

Directing<\/span><\/p>\n

Controlling<\/span><\/p>\n

Improving<\/span><\/p>\n

Decision Making<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Choose a company, research the company and describe its Management Process. Each team must choose a different company for the team project.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

The Team Essay is worth 200 points.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Team Presentation is worth 500 points.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Each student will contribute <\/span>1,<\/span>100 words or more to the essay.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

The presentation will be a <\/span>Powerpoint<\/span> presentation not to exceed 10 minutes. A 10% penalty will be applied if you go over 10 minutes. Know you material. Practice your presentation. In a 5 student team, each student will have approximately 2 minutes to present their information about the company and show the <\/span>powerpoint<\/span> slides.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here <\/span>are some suggestion<\/span> to help you get started. You don\u2019t need to address each item. And, there may be other information you want to include.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your essay should be in APA format. Cover Page (properly formatted), Introduction, Analysis and Conclusion for each category, and a reference page (again, properly formatted). Wikipedia is not a reference<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Always double space<\/span><\/p>\n

Use New Times Roman font 12 point<\/span><\/p>\n

The Introduction, Analysis and Conclusion should be centered on the page<\/span><\/p>\n
