{"id":125758,"date":"2018-02-20T23:50:30","date_gmt":"2018-02-20T23:50:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/writemyessayfree.com\/35-project"},"modified":"2017-08-16T06:06:04","modified_gmt":"2017-08-16T06:06:04","slug":"35-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.benedictsol.com\/blogs\/35-project\/","title":{"rendered":"35 Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"the_content_wrapper\">\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>\u201c35 Project\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the \u201c35 project\u201d, each student is to prepare a financial planning document that contains a budget based on a gross salary of $35,000.00 per year.&nbsp; The project calls for the following assumptions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your current age<\/li>\n<li>3% raises each year and an increase in pay of $5,000 in salary once Bachelor\u2019s degree is completed<\/li>\n<li>College tuition, books coverage by company up to $3,000 annually<\/li>\n<li>15% tax bracket until you make over $37, 450; after that 25% tax bracket<\/li>\n<li>Annual bonuses of 5% of previous year\u2019s salary (paid out in January)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(Tip: Bonus is not taxable for this exercise)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 months of expenses in savings a.s.a.p.<\/li>\n<li>Buy a house by age 35 (what must you consider?)<\/li>\n<li>Buy a new (to you) car by age 25 (what must you consider?)<\/li>\n<li>No children but considering it (if you have children, consider it<\/li>\n<li>Start saving for your retirement shortly by investing in company 401k or IRA<\/li>\n<li>What is your savings plan?<\/li>\n<li>What is your investment plan? What types of investments do you have? Why?<\/li>\n<li>How much risk are you comfortable with?
