? It is a case analysis that should be academically rigorous and professional enough for you to feel comfortable showing it to your boss or using it in a job interview as an example of your analytical capabilities.

General Information
? You are James Pierce. You have accepted the assignment of implementing changes and running the Jackson Manufacturing Facility. You have not yet left for Jackson but you have assessed the situation and identified key areas that you think will be a challenge to you.
? Keep in mind you have been charged with implementing the changes set by the executive team but you do not have the direct power to alter their strategy.

Situation Analysis: Summarize the strategic plan that you (Pierce) have been charged with implementing. Include a discussion of the circumstances that led to the development of this change strategy. Discuss why these changes are being proposed, how urgent they are, and what pace of change is indicated. Discuss your credentials and why you were chosen for this post. Include an assessment of your strengths and weaknesses for this assignment. This assessment should help you in identifying potential problems you will encounter. Remember this section sets up the information you will need for your problem analysis.<\/p>\n

Problem analysis: Explain what you think will be the most critical issues (problems) you will encounter when implementing and managing the proposed changes. What kind of resistance and\/or pitfalls might you expect to encounter. Why? Give some possible consequences to these issues if left unaddressed. End this section with a recap of the problem\/s that you will need to address in your solutions section.<\/p>\n

Alternative Solutions: Develop three (3) viable, alternative solutions for the problem\/s you identified. Make sure each solution addresses and matches the problem as you identified it. Clearly discuss and give details on what each solution entails, what it is, how it would work. List some ?pros? and ?cons? for each.<\/p>\n

Recommended Solution: Identify the solution you think will work best and explain why. Discuss how you will attempt to overcome the cons that you listed. Do not include a comparison of the other 2 solutions in this section; since each solution is viable; discuss only why you chose this solution independent of the others.<\/p>\n

Implementation: Explain how you will implement the solution, a brief list of action steps and\/or timeline is acceptable.<\/p>\n

Use a total of three (3) theoretical concepts of change management from our source materials to support your analysis. Use these in the problem analysis and\/or recommendation section\/s.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
